Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: July 2026
In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR, Part 255), here is a plain-language explanation of how DashGear Lab earns money.
The plain-language version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy the product, the brand or retailer pays us a commission. You never pay more because of this — the price is the same whether you use our link or go to the store directly.
How this affects our content (and how it doesn't)
- Commissions do not buy rankings. Our scores and "best" picks are determined by our evaluation criteria, published in each guide. We rank products we earn nothing from when they deserve it.
- Brands do not review our content before publication and cannot pay to change a score or a verdict.
- We disclose everywhere it matters. A disclosure notice appears near the top of every page containing affiliate links, not just on this page.
Programs we participate in
DashGear Lab participates in affiliate programs operated by individual brands and by affiliate networks. The specific programs may change over time as we add or remove products from our guides.
Questions
